"Wasted"
Marya is going through alot of things, most of those things she doesnt understand. At times she can take things to literal getting mixed advice from her parents who are tying to show how they feel for each other through her. The father spoils the young girl to show that he needs his wife and she should need him to. The mother pays little attention to her because she thinks the dad is needy and she doesnt need him. At this point and time the book is not catching my attention.
She is very acumen when it comes down to her problems of being bulimic and anerexic. In the book she has mixed emotions: she feels sad at times and has no one to talk to so she hides in the house or runs away, she sometimes feels confused when it comes down to her parents such as when she said "My parents did not, to the best of my knowledge, like each other very much." This novel seems to be like a journal that was kept over time and she expressed her feelings and thoughts at the momment and times; during the book you have to real close attention because it drifts off to other settings and other thoughts.
